As the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of Green Bay, Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral is the example of joyful faithfulness to Jesus Christ and His Catholic Church to all peoples and parishes within our Diocese.  The Cathedral was consecrated on November 20, 1881 and is the home of the Green Bay Diocese Museum.  The facility is open at 10 am weekdays. Guided tours may be arranged through the parish office.

Music Ministry serves from the choir loft



We offer many ways to worship God including Daily Mass, Adoration & Benediction each Wednesday, Saturday Vigil and Sunday Masses.  Please join us in prayer or visit our Mary's or Rosary Garden.


We serve the community through Saint Vincent De Paul, NEW Shelter meals, Sacraments of Baptism, Penance, First Eucharist, Confirmation, Matrimony and Anointing of the Sick.  Other ministries include Music, Liturgical, Call to Holiness, Welcoming, Evangelization, Youth, Women's Group and Esto Vir Men's Group.

Blessing of Throats - 01/28/2015

In anticipation of the Feast of Saint Blaise who feast is February 3rd, there will be the blessing of throats after all of the Masses this weekend, January 31/February 1. Legend has it that St. Blaise healed a boy who had a fishbone stuck in his throat.

Disciples on the Way - Holy Hour - 12/04/2014

As part of the Disciples on the Way, Bishop Ricken has requested that each parish in the Diocese of Green Bay hold a monthly Holy Hour. The Holy Hour at the Cathedral will be held every second Wednesday of the month from 7 - 8 p.m. Feb. 11th is next date.

Ash Wednesday Masses - 01/27/2015

Ash Wednesday Masses at the Cathedral will be at 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Bishop Ricken will be the main celebrant for the 5:30 p.m Mass. What a wonderful way to start the season of Lent!
